On the eve of the South Carolina primary Cruz insiders are reportedly privately beginning to fear that a big loss to Donald Trump would signal more defeats in the SEC states. CNN reported:

That’s the worry of a growing number of people close to Ted Cruz’s campaign, who are privately beginning to fear that a big loss in South Carolina to Donald Trump on Saturday could signal more defeats to come in the so-called SEC states that are the lynchpin of Cruz’s strategy.
“If they’re pretty far back from Trump and they can’t get southern conservative evangelicals in South Carolina, I do think they’re probably going to have a hard time elsewhere,†said Erick Erickson, a conservative writer in touch with Cruz’s team. “I sense a real fear from people that if Trump blows everybody out of the water in South Carolina, that he is suddenly unstoppable.â€

Trump fans are worried a close race here could be their demise as more candidates leave the race which polls show helps Cruz in the long run.
Rubio fans are worried a weak performance here would leave them scratching for money to continue.
Of course Cruz fans want this to be a close race. Duh !!
Well if team Cruz has a pulse they must be aware they are going to lose SC and NV.

So ironic that the title of his book is “A Time For Truth”. Highly disappointed I bought it, and believed it. I wonder if he will give me a refund?
As other folks have left the race, Trumps numbers increased from 32-36 to 36 to 42.
The supporters of other candidates who drop out, are not turning away from Trump. All candidates are picking some off.

What bothers me is how Cruz says Trump IS pro-choice. He completely omits and hint that Trump changed his mind as he claims. It’s just sleazy.

LOL ~ You’re right! Jim Hoft is an avid Trump supporter. He also knee-jerks out news too quickly, and a time or two, he’s been dead wrong, so I don’t trust him with the news in general.
I agree....if Cruz struggles in SC, then he will have a hard time on Super Tuesday.
