Gaffer, this isn’t a straw being pulled.

This is full agreement by both parties (Donald Trump and Code Pink) on a fundamental viewpoint that goes to the core of what Bush did with respect to the conflict in the Middle East.

As I have said many times before, I don’t have a moral issue with those who disagree with me on nearly every account with the Iraq war relating to the entry, execution, money spent, etc. I think those points are justifiably open to debate.

What I do NOT believe is open to debate is the falsehood of the vile charge that Bush outright lied on the fundamental, major points on which the conflict was entered in order solely to advance his personal (or that of his associates) monetary gain.

That is the position of Code Pink. And Donald Trump agrees with it. And that is what people take exception to.

I don’t thing Bush the Younger invaded Iraq the 2nd time for personal, or associates gain. I believe it was continuation of a failed ME destabilization policy. Lied, or mislead is about the same difference with regard to results. Did April Gilaspie mislead, or lie?
