I support Cruz but i am not at all happy or comfortable with Beck under the same tent.

I’m pro-Cruz but I fail to see how my fasting would advance his candidacy.
I’ll have a slice of bacon in his honor instead.
When Senator Cruz does the post mortem for his campaign, two things will have to be addressed.
First, those 13 hours of raw footage video that his campaign released to YouTube showing Cruz's family trying very hard to pretend that they liked him. A lot of us saw the real Ted Cruz in these videos and found him just a little bit creepy.
Second, without a doubt, Glenn Beck. I read what I thought had to have been a satire piece about Beck assuring voters that only Ted Cruz will get us through the Rapture. Turned out it was true. Glenn Beck actually said this.
Ted has made a calculated mistake in recruiting nut-job Beck to chance the Mormon/Christian vote.

I never saw the 13 hours thing. But I’ve never seen Hillary behind the scenes, either. With her we only get the hype, the media buildup and prop up and all the pundit lying. Kabuki.
About the only thing I can see at this point is that you’d never see a Democrat putting something like 13 hours of non-kabuki out.
Yes, Beck is a lunatic’s loon - not even debatable.
However...
Cruz himself is responsible for partnering with Beck and his open borders/no borders position as well as Beck’s insane beliefs.
Cruz is totally responsible for his association with Beck and all that accompanies it.
I’m giving up Glenn Beck for lent. And even after that, ;-)

Ted has to get away from this lunatic, the man is certifiable nuts.
Both Ted and Beck could stand to lose a few pounds!
Some thoughts....Cruz and his advisors need to think long and hard how they’ve been branding Ted. They need to lighten up on the evangelical angle and instead promote Ted’s Senate track record and talents not shared by the other candidates. And Ted needs to clean up that preachy cadence where he softens his voice. They must realize that video recordings of what he says at local evangelical town halls does not play as well to a broadcast audience. As for Glenn Beck, he is a glory hound who has been becoming a major face of the campaign. Right now Rubio is collecting the endorsements of the faces that matter. Second. I’d start getting Ted one on one with voters to film in a fashion similar to how he handled the irate pro ethanol subsidy Iowa farmer. That was a classic. And most importantly, Ted needs full out damage control to pull the teeth out of all the lying accusations which have been sticking.
Oh good Lord. I guess we can be thankful he didn’t propose a “white night” rehearsal.
