On today's Meet the Press, Chuck Todd helped perpetuate the myth that Planned Parenthood provides mammograms. Interviewing Donald Trump, Todd said "Democrats will say the money they give to Planned Parenthood does not go to abortions. That the money they give to Planned Parenthood only goes to other women's health issues including mammograms and things like that."

Let's make this absolutely clear: Planned Parenthood does not perform mammograms. Its own FAQ on the matter makes that clear. Even the Washington Post says "the myth that Planned Parenthood actually offers mammogram X-rays to patients has been long debunked, and needs to stop being repeated . . . When Democratic lawmakers or other supporters assert that Planned Parenthood 'provides' mammograms, this is highly misleading." If Todd was going to echo the Dem's "highly-misleading" line, he had a duty to inform viewers that it was untrue. He didn't, and thus misled MTP's audience. A shame.

Medicaid is the #1 source of money to PP. All someone needs to do is do a freedom of information request against every state medicaid agency for a list by number of events and amount of money for a given period of time by each ICD-9 and/or ICD-10 code. Other types of codes could also be requested if one wants to do thorough analysis.

Dont request the names or addresses of the patients, not even the zip codes of the patients.... just the data by state.

I’m fairly certain that PP does only minimal medical procedures (e.g. PAP tests), and that any woman who wants comprehensive health care actually has to go to a medical clinic.

Furthermore, PP only performs those few minimal procedures for PR purposes. They want to point at them as proof that they provide healthcare services, when the reality is that they are about abortion, and only abortion.

A fetus does not have a right to be in the womb of any woman, but is there by her permission. This permission may be revoked by the woman at any time, because her womb is part of her body. Permissions are not rights. There is no such thing as the right to live inside the body of another, i.e. there is no right to enslave. Contrary to the opinion of anti-abortion activists (falsely called "pro-lifers" as they are against the right to life of the actual human being involved) a woman is not a breeding pig owned by the state (or church). Even if a fetus were developed to the point of surviving as an independent being outside the pregnant woman’s womb, the fetus would still not have the right to be inside the woman's womb.

What applies to a fetus, also applies to a physically dependent adult. If an adult-say a medical welfare recipient-must survive by being connected to someone else, they may only do so by the voluntary permission of the person they must be connected to. There is no such thing as the right to live by the efforts of someone else, i.e., there is no such thing as the right to enslave.

What a pathetic answer! Trump should be educated enough on Planned Parenthood to already KNOW THEY DON'T PERFORM MAMMOGRAMS! This is exactly why I cannot trust him. He wants to have it both ways and that is disgusting to me. He ducked the perfect opportunity to slam dunk Todd and declined to do so. Ask yourself why?
