Report: Bush PAC Donors Angry as Mike Murphy Walks Away with $14M After Blowing $100M
Breitbart ^ | 2/22/16 | JOHN NOLTE

Posted on 02/22/2016 11:23:32 AM PST by jimbo123

Mirroring the donor-backlash against Karl Rove after his American Crossroad/Crossroads GPS super PACs raised upwards of $300 million and produced a dismal 2012 success rate, Mike Murphy, the man in charge of the Jeb Bush Right to Rise USA super PAC is now in the crosshairs. Right to Rise's dismal results became painfully obvious when Bush dropped out of the race Saturday night after only three primary contests.

CNN reports that donors are not happy:

In the armchair quarterbacking following Bush's departure from the race Saturday night, Murphy is facing countless questions about the efficacy of the PAC spending tens of millions of dollars on a candidacy that floundered months ago and never rebounded.

Murphy said in an email Monday, "Out of more than 11,000 donors only a handful have complained."

CNN goes on to report that outside of those dismal results, Murphy may have personally pocketed $14 million.

What a bunch of suckers. A nominal amount of research would have showed these people what a monumental waste Mike Murphy is. Not competent. Trump should go out and comment and tell them he would sue Murphy if he was in their shoes. I probably would. the GOPe is a scam run by common crook consultants.

If they had only named it: “Right to Lose” no one would have anything to complain about. Oh well, hindsight being 20/20 and all.

CNN reports that donors are not happy...

Hmm...well, let them comfort themselves with a little fill-in-the-blanks:

"A ____ and his ____ soon are parted."

$14M? Ripoff! Bush should have called me first. I could’ve engineered the same defeat and only would have charged him $7M.

Golly gee wizzz! Who would have thought? Getting mad when somebody spends 120 million of their money for a 14 million fee.

Ya think they didn’t know this before? And these guys are the “elite” we are supposed to be following?

The political consultant class is the problem... and they service both parties. That they would unite against Trump is a given... and with them all the folks they hire...

When competent people like Trump run on their own they become a threat to the “Mike Murphy’s” of the world. Jeb was a sad but willing victim of the Establishment Consultant system. The consultant class is giving us milquetoast politicians who can’t DO anything...

How did this happen?

The consultant class ‘interviews’ people they’re willing ‘to allow to hire them’. Yes, that seems strange, but they aren’t willing to let just anyone hire them. They’re in this for the money and power - and THEY have requirement.

Consultants want ‘likable’ types who will listen to them and DO what they say. Someone who won’t give them a hard time about spending money for useless ads - a “jeb” type. Jeb’s the ideal type for a consultant firm... malleable, sweet, listens to the consultant rather than to his own heart and is willing to SPEND A BUNDLE.

The reason our elected people are so lame is BECAUSE the consultant class is choosing them NOT for what they can do for the United States, but for how easy they are to manipulate.

The consultant class ARE the enemy - they’re the rulers of the Establishments of both parties. AND they won’t go gentle into that good night... They’ll destroy Trump if they can... their corrupt jobs depend on the incentives from hell and phony ‘leaders’ that can’t lead... Trump has his work cut out for him...

I look at it this way. Non-donors are pretty happy with this result. Oh, they’re not happy that some schnook snaked $14 MM away from RoveCo, but frankly it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy. Both of them.

And judging by the popularity of said Jebster, I would say more people are happy than the donors are unhappy. Oh yes they are. So a greater degree of happiness concentrated among the few (the donors, had Bush been successful) was redistributed among a much larger class, the non-donors. Socialistically it is very healthy./s

LOL! I love that the Jeb! donors lost their shirts. They’re paying for their ignorance and not seeing what everyone with a brain cell could see: WE WANT ANYONE BUT AN ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE AND NO MORE BUSHES!

We could have saved Jeb so much money last June, and at a fraction of that 14 mil that Murphy walked away with.

I advise you to go and hide somewhere, Mike. There's about 11,000 donors with guac bowls aimed at your head.
