As much as I might like to see Cruz as VP, I think the logical choice is Kasich who can lock up Ohio in the general election. Besides, I rather have Cruz in the Senate if Trump is president.

I thought this the other day. Kasich does have Washington experience and it would help to gain Ohio. That would effectively end his career too, I believe. Cruz needs to be somewhere useful, either Senate, Supreme Court, or Attorney General. Rubio’s career would end also as VP and is effectively over if he gets nothing.

I think Mika’s fears are unfounded....unless Trump goes against his own instincts...he always picks a qualified, focused person and most of all someone who would be “loyal” to him. He knows how Rubio turned his back on his supporters when he got into the senate. Not good.

Trump is like a college athlete. Come game time he goes out gives it all he’s got...does whatever it takes to win. When the game is over, his respect for his opponents takes over and he is like...”good tough game, best of luck with the rest of your schedule.”

Trump has to respect you. Don’t see him respecting Rubio. He would respect Cruz before he would Rubio. Cruz has put in the hard work that was needed before the game and after the game. And he never quits. Rubio is a slacker..
