Ted Cruz's presidential bid is in turmoil after repeated allegations of unsavory campaign tactics by his Republican rivals, leading some key supporters to call for a shake-up in the candidate's message and strategy a week ahead of the crucial Super Tuesday primaries.
Aides and allies of the insurgent senator from Texas acknowledged in interviews this week that the campaign has been damaged by attacks on Cruz's integrity from Donald Trump and Marco Rubio. They have pointed to a series of questionable tactics by the Cruz camp, including calls to voters suggesting that candidate Ben Carson was dropping out and the sharing of an inaccurate video suggesting Rubio had disparaged the Bible.

Senator Cruz is the most honest and honorable candidate that I have seen in a while. He has stood up for his beliefs. He is portrayed constantly as unpopular and now he is portrayed as dishonest. The constant repetition of these attack articles are meant to destroy Senator Cruz.
NEWSFLASH: Cruz is unpopular and he’s running a dirty campaign.
Unlike the Clinton campaign where when someone shouts “liar” at Clinton, all of her “supporters” cheer.

Ted Cruz brought all of this on himself. You can’t have a slogan like “trusTED”, talk about how you’ll be the voice for Christian morality in politics, release a book called “A Time for Truth”, and then hire a scumbag campaign manager and other staff that create a bunch of unforced errors where you have to apologize to opponents and fire your people for lying.
That’s not the media’s fault. That’s Ted’s fault. He wasn’t ready for national office, and got into bed with the wrong type of campaign apparatus.

Nothing makes sinners feel so good as to enjoy the fall of one who tries to do right. The same goes with liars.
Cruz Glue Sniffers will weep and wail over these unfounded attacks on Cruz, even if they are true.
Cruz has taken on a desperate demeanor.

Cruz isn’t a liar, and anyone with an ounce of brains and integrity knows it.
But none of this even matters anymore.
Trump has won.
The irony of all this is that it was Cruz who ran interference for Trump at the beginning and allowed him to get some traction. But that’s water under the bridge.
Time to start looking toward the matchup with Hillary.
Happily, Trump isn’t lying when on Monday he says A, and on Tuesday he says B, because he truly believed each contradictory thing at that moment.

Newsflash, as long as Cruz stays in, Rubio and the establishment cannot gain enough traction to pass Trump. For all of those in the Trump camp who are condemning Cruz, do you think Cruz’s supporters are going to Trump?
Now let’s take a second and analyze what I just said. The GOPe cannot gain traction. They burned that bridge with Cruz and both Cruz and Trump are not fighting each other as much as they are fighting the establishment.
Do not be surprised if behind the scenes Trump and Cruz are allies.
There were no calls! It happened at the caucus, and CNN was the impetus, not the Cruz campaign. Sorry screaming into the wind, but truth is truth!

Yup, the outward character assassination of Cruz is just for a show to get Trump the nomination.
I would hope that the bitterness ends enough for Cruz to be considered for SC. Even his birth in Canada would not come to question there.
