Perfect example of the quasi-religious nature of Trump support.

Very like Obama cultism.

Trump is a prophet seer. Trump is the savior of America.

It’s kind of scary.

I will say, that I noticed this a while ago and commented on the similarity of Obama 2008 and Trump now with regard to the idol worship of their candidate.

It goes above and beyond supporting a politician and goes to a place I think is unhealthy.

I did say a few months ago when first talking about it that it is indicative of a candidate who will win.

If Trump can do this to the general populace in the summer and fall, he has a chance to win.

Used to be a distinguishing difference between the 'Rats and the GOPtp. I'll call it now the rise of the GOPp, or the "P"opulist wing of the party.

Good luck guys (aiming that at the GOPp now).

March 1, in MA, I'm voting Cruz.

He has lost a lot of supporters because of his lies and propaganda. I predict he will not win due to the sheer numbers of Dems vs.Republicans. He takes 45 percent of the Republican vote every time. What about the other 55%?
The one thing I can say is the Dems will coalesce around their candidate of choice. The Republican side has handily snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Exactly. I'm very concerned that we are about to elect the first Official Dictator of America, who will turn out Congress and rule with an iron hand.

I too saw this, Trump sees things from a perspective of a lot of voters, and makes statements before his opponents know what to say.

The best example is the “ban the non-citizen Muslims until we figure out how to vet them”. (I am paraphrasing what he actually said.) This caught every candidate by total surprise and they all countered with something to the extent that “we cannot do this”. But a few days later most had come around to a version of Trump’s statement. At the time I realized how deeply Trump’s team understood the American political attitude, that he (a) got it right and (b) got it first.

It is stuff like this that makes me believe Trump is a stronger leader and probably has his hand on the pulse of the American voter better than the other candidates.

So Trump can’t simply have supporters?
