An empty lot in Leipzig where a local Muslim community plans to build a mosque was the target of an apparent Islamophobic attack on Wednesday, when a passer-by found a dead piglet in a bush.
The dead piglet had the words "Mutti Merkel" (Mother Merkel) daubed on it in red paint, the Leipziger Volkszeitung (LVZ) reported.
"I see this as just a stupid act. I don't know what they mean to say with this, but our mosque construction project will continue," Dr. Rashid Nawaz of the Leipzig branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat (AMJ) organization told The Local.
The piglet was hurled onto the patch of earth sometime overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, he said. ...

But these are Ahmadiyyas, Muslims who think there are minor prophets after Mohammad and that the Mahdi and Jesus already came; they get targeted by other Muslims all the time, are banned from Mecca, and have no violent components... Why would anyone target those guys; it’s like targeting Bahais or Mormons if someone was trying to target mainstream Christianity.
They need a bigger pig.
Ahmadiyya have participated in military acts before. And their stance with respect to Mahomet and his followers being purely “defensive” is a rewrite of history. Did you join FR just for the purpose of being an apologist for Islam?

Which acts were those? Are you talking about terrorism?
They have historically participated in military actions.
And if they are not going to be honest about the acts of Mahomet and his followers in the sixth century, it makes one wonder about the veracity of their advertised doctrines.
That’s aside from their claims that Ahmad was both the Mahdi and the second coming of Jesus Christ, which is not only against majority Islamic beliefs but also Christian beliefs. Marxists, of course, will just regard them as another superstition to be “combat(ed)”, to use Lenin’s word.
You might be right, but which military actions did they participate in? I understand some might be in the Indian Army, but I’m referring to violent religious fundamentalist acts perpetrated by Ahmadis.
Ahmad definitely did make some crazy claims and Ahmadis are apologetics for Mohammad, but that’s not the point. I just have not seen proof of Ahmadi extremist organizations; all I can find is an active missionary campaign. If you have found out about some, please enlighten me.
