Glenn Beck Admits He Misled Cruz Audiences About George Washington’s 'Don Quixote'
Breitbart ^ | February 25, 2016 | Rebecca Mansour

Glenn Beck has now admitted that he misled audiences at his campaign appearances for Sen. Ted Cruz when he told them the copy of Don Quixote he held in his hand was the same copy that George Washington purchased on the day the Constitution was signed. Beck now admits that the copy he was displaying at Cruz rallies was actually printed in 1796 - 9 years after the Constitution was signed...

"I have incorrectly stated that my copy is the copy that Washington purchased the day he signed the Constitution..."

No, not Trump. I truly believe Glenn Beck has some serious mental health issues, and I hope he gets counseling. Without elaborating, I have experience with family dysfunction, so I don’t make light of posts such as these. Several flags are pointing to Beck’s issues not just his current comments or Lying about his book. That stated, I know Trump isn’t you guy and that’s fine. I don’t wish to argue or pick a battle with you. Thanks.

“I have incorrectly stated that my copy is the copy that Washington purchased the day he signed the Constitution...”

Oh, no! Say it ain’t so Glenn! I’m now worried the next thing you’ll be admitting to is that your “fast” actually lasted only between breakfast and lunch.

Fake or real, using the book as a prop was bizarre. Don Quixote isn’t a good message for any campaign. George Washington wasn’t a pop star, so why run around with something simply because George may have touched it?

So sad to see him being dishonest and insane after he did many good things only a few years ago. He woke me up to a lot of things especially back in the 2008-2010 time frame. He recently lied about Trump voting for Obama...not true at all. And now this. How many more times has he lied to us?

I know this has nothing to do with politics, the I’ll mention it anyway.

I saw a video of Glenn Beck on YouTube a few months back, and in that video I watched him emphatically say, “Of course the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is God.” Now anyone who knows anything about Mormonism, knows that Mormons believe that Jesus was created, not the Creator. I mean, Mormons believe that Lucifer and Jesus were brothers, before he was cast out of heaven and became, Satan.

So my question for Glenn Beck would be: Since your “faith” is at odds with a fundamental and crucial truth of Scripture, why do you still call yourself a Mormon?

Beck lies as much as Cruz does.

Yea, but don’t forget about Donald (No One Reads The Bible More Than Me) Trump

Glenn also lied when he posted a fake tweet claiming Trump voted for Obama. The lies appear to always be one degree of separation from Cruz. Typical politics.

What, specifically, are you basing your opinion of Beck on?

Reminds me of a man in Florida who won the lottery and bought all kinds armor and weapons that he believed were from the Middle Ages or earlier. The stuff looked like it had come straight from Taiwan, circa 20th century.

Sadly, the man spent all of his winnings and died of a drug overdose.

When a person who can’t manage their finances wins the lottery, they become a wealthy person who can’t manage their finances. Winning the lottery doesn’t make you happier, it makes you richer.

“I have been a shareholder in a company that filed bankruptcy. They restructured and I was still a shareholder. So what.”

Exactly! Sometimes the company emerges even stronger! That’s the point really.

Who cares about this non-issue? We’re going to waste time talking about an antique book mis-dated by a few years? Really? I wish I lived in the country that was so perfect it had time to waste on these nonsense, inconsequential issues.

Cruz campaign attracts deceit and falsehoods like bugs to a light. It is a strange and repeating phenomenon.

I agree. If’s of no consequence. It didn’t help anything. It was an unforced error, a huge one.

There were some programs he offered up that I thought were very timely, informative, and needed.

I realized even then, that I would have to be selective, to find others.

He is a sad creature. I say that not as a put-down, because I think he has some sort of chemical imbalance or something, and can’t help himself.

It’s a shame really. He needs a nine to fiver where he can just do his work, go home, and vege out.
