Interesting - Trump blamed Romney’s loss partially on Romney taking, what he called, too hard of a line on immigration and urged the GOP to adopt comprehensive immigration reform to help the party’s standing among Hispanics:

So now he claims what caused Romney to lose (in his opinion) will cause him apparently to win?
I guess that makes as much sense as anything else he says.
Well Romney was able to publish his tax returns unlike Trump and he wasn’t being sued for fraud in multiple states for his businesses.

I think the better or even the best choice would be Newt. He can control the press and more importantly he knows how to get legislation through Congress. He knows the ropes on that end and would take Ryan to school.

It would have been INCOMPREHENSIBLE. The media would have destroyed him. There would have been soccer moms on the news every night in tears. Bet on it.
Trump is getting away with all the insults and aggressiveness because Americans, both Republicans and Democrats, fully realize they've been screwed.
It's why Cruz isn't going anywhere. The "Goody-Two-Shoes Bible and Constitution Roadshow" was a terrible campaign strategy in this environment.
Americans are scared to death of what's happened to the culture, their economy, and the country. They don't want a lecture on the Constitution.
Trump will win BIG.
It's why he has adopted his platform on immigration.
During his announcement speech, he talked about Mexican rapists.
He soared straight to the top and hasn't been touched yet.
Illegal immigration and "The Wall" is his signature issue.
