He must figure he can “debate” his way out of this and keep his supporters in the dark regarding his real positions.
Why is this in the sidebar as if it is new news? This is from last year. He’s already explained what was going on then, and come out on the Senate floor saying McConnell lied to him about what was actually going to be done. He tried the “dealing” route that Trump says will win the day - but it doesn’t work when you have lying back-stabbers. So he fought them by saying on the Senate floor that they are lying back-stabbers, and for that has won the title of the man so arrogant that everybody hates him.
No way he could win. Not. One. Stinkin’. Way. Because he wasn’t outside the system flinging poo at those inside. He was inside the system trying to clean it up and being hated for it.
And he’s still being hated for it, by those who claim to also want to clean up the poo.
Makes no sense. And that’s all I’m going to say, because immediately those wanting poo cleaned up are going to be hurling it at me too. Don’t bother; I’m not going to respond. Carry on.
