For 2011 to 2014, Cruz’s campaign released two pages of tax returns for each year. The documents, like those released earlier Saturday by fellow GOP contender Sen. Marco Rubio — don’t reveal many details like which tax breaks he claimed or how much he gave to charity.
Rubio's returns were also scant on details.

The thread was about IRS, so this is my chance to talk about IRS. I know Cruz has talked about it. Trump has a good tax plan, but I don’t know that he has thought in terms of actually separating IRS from dealing with average citizens who are not businesses. But I hope he will think about it. We should be demanding it.
Cruz won’t be the nominee anyway, so if it happens we have to put it on the agenda.
You are right, national sovereignty is the most important issue we face. Right on the heels of that is constitutionality, and right after that the economy. Trump is pretty good on two of the three. Cruz has been firm on the border, less firm on things like H1b, and his vote on TPA was bad (though his attack on McConnell was sweet).
None of the candidates are perfect. Trump and Cruz are the only ones I trust on the border. Cruz is the only one I trust when it comes to constitutionality. Trump is probably the best man to re-align us in terms of our trade relationships.
The tit-for-tat about the tax returns is just noise. It doesn’t hurt to give Trump grief about it, but it doesn’t mean much, I assume there is nothing in there of importance. But re-orienting our relationship with IRS, that’s important.
Trump is lucky to have Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dumb fighting him. Are they speaking in Spanish?

Heidi Cruz IS a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs. And the Cruzs are withholding how much GS pays her to spend years in the White House influencing policy and as the wife of a presidential candidate influencing him (as he paved the way for TPA---the ability for the Pres to unilaterally approve trade agreements created by the World Trade Organization and the UN without any oversight or approval required by anyone else in US government, notably by any legislative, elected representative.) Then, we can discuss the "Corker bill"...

Man, you Trumpsters talk about dirty tricks, this BS about Heidi Cruz takes the cake. Have you ever worked for someone with whom you disagreed? If you've READ her work in Building a North American Community, you would find out that she is not at all a "globalist" at all (about which I know a fair bit more than most anybody here), having gone to war against the Agenda 21 in 1994. In that document, she speicifically empahsized the value of naitonal sovereignty and how what she was advocating would in no way resemble the EU. You may disagree with her about the value of trade (and I have some disagreements there too), but by no means do her positions represent "globalism." She's an investment advisor, and that's pretty much it.

ALL the candidates should be held to the same standards, so I agree with Cruz on this.

This is not about Donald Trump. No, this is about you. Therefore, I can assume that the things he has said and done are not only acceptable to you, but are the kinds of things you think will make America great.
So while I get the frustration, I just want you to be aware – if you are a Trump supporter, these are the things I assume about you:
1) You think a great America consists of disrespecting our nation’s veterans, particularly our POW’s. ...
2) You believe that in a great America it’s okay to mock people with physical disabilities.
3) You think a great America is where a woman’s purpose is to be a beautiful piece of a**.
4) You hope for a great America that strongly dislikes or refuses to accept entire people groups (and there’s a word for that).
5) You look forward to a great America that is politics as usual.
6) You fight for a great America where the ends justify the means and things like faith and character do not matter.
7) You believe in a great America in which the best way to win is to bully (and maybe you’re a bully, too).
8) You dream of a great America with a strong central government that monitors and controls civil liberties such as freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press (and possibly even the right to bear arms).
9a) You think a great America is one that looks like Hillary Clinton (or Bernie Sanders? – updated 2/02/16).
9b) You think a great America is one that looks like Donald Trump.
If Trump were to get the nomination and then go on to win the presidential election, that means one thing: that Trump (through his actions and his words) represents what the majority of Americans have become and want more of. That means Trump is America and America is Trump.
If that is the case, then America not only will not be great…I’m not even sure America is or will be even any good.
In the course of this series, I’ve examined Ted Cruz’s branding as the “consistent conservative,” also the constitutional conservative, and found it wanting on several levels. For one thing, Cruz has flip-flopped in the space of the primary cycle on vital immigration and trade issues.
For example:
Cruz has moved from the globalist position to the nationalist position on Syrian refugess (for to against), Obamatrade (for to against), H1B visas (from calling for expansion to calling for a moratorium), birthright citizenship (from waste of conservative time to must end it). Now he even calls for a “wall that works.” In this way, Cruz has moved to occupy brand new political terrain that Donald Trump by himself opened up (which is why Trump has my vote).
Obamatrade gets only a mention above, but in Stephen Miller’s superb explication, it becomes clear how core-central the trade issue is; what it tells us about Ted Cruz that his pre-Trump instincts were to support it; and how crucial Trump’s decades of opposition to such “free” trade is to his candidacy.

If you’re concerned about the Constitution, if you’re concerned about the arrival of foreign workers, the idea that you would enmesh the US permanently in a transnational union that hands over sovereign United States power to foreign countries, dictating labor-enviromental-regulation-trade-commercial-immigration policy, then clearly, immigration and the Constitution are not as important to you as you suggest.
The logic is clear if shocking. What “consistent orginalist” would ever even consider supporting such a Constitution-gutting move? Meanwhile, though, it fits a pattern (see, for example, “Cruz, Rubio, Paul: All Abandoned `Advise and Consent’” by Andrew Bostom).
Miller:
That was a defining vote. To say that a candidate is good except for giving Obama fast track powers (obviously there’s a lot more problem with Cruz’s resume that that) but if you’re argument is, well, I like Cruz except that he gave Obama unlimited fast track powers — that’s like saying, I bought a great new car. The engine will explode in 60 seconds after I turn it on; but other than that it’s great.
That was a defining moment history in the history of the United States. ...
Q: Why?
Because [it] answered the question of whether or not the United States will remain a sovereign country. Already in ways that we don’t readily see but we experience the effects, the sovereign powers of the United States have been bled away, whether it’s with agreements in the UN, whether it’s with agreements in existing international structures, like the World Trade Organization, or NAFTA, or something called the Generalized Agreement in Trade and Services ...
A lot of people don’t realize there’s already laws that we cannot change without being forced into some kind of international court or arbitration.
For instance, a previous agreement we made on what’s called Trade and Services [which] basically has to do not with moving merchandise, but moving people, and services. So, for instance it includes foreign workers.
And so, we made an agreement on Trade and Services with a series of foreign countries that actually prevents us from limiting the movement of foreign workers with participating countries. That’s already the case. That’s already happened. Same thing with NAFTA. We have 70,000 foreign workers coming through NAFTA every year, so-called treaty-workers. We can’t stop them from coming.
Understand this. Think about this: We, a sovereign country, cannot restrict the arrival of these treaty-workers because of an international agreement that we made. Now, imagine applying that to 70 percent of world GDP with the Trans Pacific Partnership.
But then step wider, because fast track, it gave the the executive the ability to negotiate as many trade agreements as they want with limited scrutiny, and very limited abilty to block, for six years.
They had three agreements that they were working on: the Trans Pacific Partnership, the Trans Atlantic Partnership, and then the Trade and Services Agreement, which is called TISA. Collectively, those three agreement encompass 90 percent of world GDP.

So if you look at that op-ed ...
We’re talking about a defining moment in US history.
I will point to what is happening in England, in the United Kingdom, and what they’ve seen with the European Union, and their own inability to block the movements of foreign persons, as well as the regulation that’s imposed upon them from Brussels.
And that began as a trade agreement.
Once you begin walking down this path, you hit a point of no return.
So that op-ed was a moment in Cruz’s career where he threw in his lot in total with the globalists....
Propaganda. Lies.
That’s what you spread. And it stinks, just like your candidate does.
