Great, adding MORE to the role of employer/entrepreneur: accountant. What’s next? Home-owner insurance? Financial planner? Guidance counselor? /s

Course, there’s an easy solution: abolish 16th, give a fair reading to the 5th and 13th (IE: eliminate welfare...should already be the basis for mooting the 16th, IMO) and install a SMALL initial-purchase sales tax.

Course, we’re talking removing power from D.C. and the like and restoring Freedom/choice to the People; something D.C. will fail to give up willingly.

No, its much simpler than that. Most people are so used to the idea of individual income tax that they can’t imagine a world in which that doesn’t happen... but it doesn’t happen in much of the world.

You employer already withholds taxes and sends them in based on a table. That is common throughout the world. What is different in the US is making you, the individual, responsible. No need. The company pays a tax based on a given percentage of its payroll. Done. You need have nothing to do with it.

When we talk about getting rid of the IRS, most people understand that you will always have an agency that collects taxes. But even if you have an income tax, that tax doesn’t need to be individualized. Just a percentage of the company payroll. As a business you will always have to deal with the tax man. As an individual, you should never have to deal with them (unless you yourself start a business and start hiring people).
