WASHINGTON _ Former U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn on Monday endorsed U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio for the GOP presidential nomination and said Donald Trump was "perpetuating a fraud."
Coburn, a Republican who was Oklahoma's most popular political figure when he resigned in early 2015, said Rubio was the only Republican candidate in the mold of former President Ronald Reagan.
"While some are offering a message of victimization and helplessness against Washington, Marco understands that ‘We the People’ are not the establishment and the elites in American society.
"We need a president who will reawaken our belief in the American idea and not merely complain about how things are but challenge us to dream of what could be."

Pretty sure if Reagan had been going to foam parties (and was upset that they turned his high heeled boots white) then it would have been a non stop television topic in the eighties.

I know. Coburn isn’t a conservative. (As the know nothings usually say.) Cruz has 100% rating. Rubio has a 98% rating. Trump has been funding liberals far and wide most of his life. Apparently, demagoguery trumps conservatism.
Trump misquoted Coburn. He did not lie about Coburn’s intense dislike for Cruz. These are two different things.
30 years of the Republican Party claiming the “conservative” label gave us Trent Lott, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Eric Cantor, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and so many more.
And now, Marco Rubio.
Don’t know about the rest of you but i am no longer buying what they’re selling.
Actually, it’s Trump who is getting senile. He has all the signs of dementia. You can see this when he speaks. For example, who hasn’t noticed the logorrhea signs. It’s manifest. He’s not the virile man he pretends to be. He’ll be 70 soon. And just as he paints himself orange to hide his pasty white skin, he pretends to be an alpha male. The third wife, the trophy wife, is a part of this weird act, too.
