John Adams was right. Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the governance of any other. On Tuesday, you have an opportunity to demonstrate the character of the American people. In our nations most religious region in the party where most of the Christian voters are concentrated it is now up to you to demonstrate that your commitment to character and integrity and truth itself is more important to you than your rage and frustration. And that means rejecting Donald Trump.

Perhaps not but I know there is a non-zero chance of those things happening which is more than I can say with Rubio, Cruz, and Kasich. In this case I would rather be stabbed in the back than in the front.
If you are a Christian voter, you cannot possibly believe that Trump will protect life.
Perhaps Mr. French is right but I doubt he will be any different from the other three candidates. Nothing has happened on the Federal level for over 30 years. At least on the issue of religious freedom post-Oberfell Trump will not cave to the Chamber of Commerce as I am sure the other three will.
Moreover, Trump would subvert the honor of the American military. He has said repeatedly that he would use the awesome power of the American armed forces to kill terrorists families. The American warrior is trained to protect innocent women and children from the worlds most evil men.
Really??? So how about the hundreds of thousands of woman and children killed when the US laid waste to German and Japanese cities. It was ulgy but necessary. If we do not have the stomach to do what is necessary to fight a war is should not get in one.
He knows absolutely nothing about military strategy. He openly admires strongmen such as Russias Vladimir Putin
Trump can't do any worse than supposedly the smartest running America's wars during the past two administrations. I admire Putin because he does what it takes to win and he has been more successful in a few weeks than the US has been for years.
Look at the cover of the current issue of NR.
They ARE the enemy !!
An open letter to National Review:
STUFF IT!
Did NR happen to mention not voting for the Clinton crime family?
Trump id against abortion. The author needs to check the facts.
I’m sure they read National Review before going into the voting booth...
Who reads, this rag?
Can’t get to the website right now....
+1
Looks like National Review has turned into a liberal mag. A whole issue against the GOP frontrunner, but not against Hillary. Rubio, member of Gang of Eight, is not patriotic, was not raised to love this country.
Not me. I would not even waste y time looking at it in a line at the store.
This is about the 155th such article in the last three days.
How many TENS OF THOUSANDS of illegals are here as gardeners, nannies and house cleaners for Americans?
Google it as to HOW much DINERO those illegals SEND BACK TO MEXICO.

Figures for the total amount illegal aliens sent back to their home countries ... In 2009, Mexican workers, mostly illegal aliens, sent home $21.2 billion in such transfers. ..

And, of course, they don't pay taxes on that money, either.
Wow.....the guy has the cojones to tell me that if I vote for Trump I’m a lousy Christian?
Woody Allen was right. That rag really DOES belong on the pornography shelf.

You mean that currently Trump is pro-life as a candidate for the Republican nomination for POTUS, not pro-choice like he was for the first 67 years of his life...correct?
Of course (and I’m paraphrasing), Trump has recently said that “he can change into anything he wants to at a moments notice”...correct?
So, why do you think that Trump will remain pro-life once elected?
Hmmm!
If only these “experts” could write so many words in support of another candidate.
If they had even built up my trust by writing as many words about how terrible the house and senate were in 2015. About how Rs in congress “willingness to say and do whatever he needs to gain and hold power” and their failure to “protect life” (defund PP).
“There was a time when I was more amused than appalled by” congress. And my feelings carry over to the republican party and to anyone who didn’t actively complain about them throughout all of 2015. In January they said wait until March. Then they said they’ll start working on the budget soon and it’s a long process. Then in October they said they hadn’t started and wait for Ryan. Then Ryan said it’s too late so we’ll pass an OmniCrap budget and do it right next year.
I may have missed it but a quick scan of French’s 2015 writings doesn’t seem to cover anything about the disaster that was the 2015 republican congress or any screeds pleading for congress to fund the military or defund planned parenthood or fix immigration or any number of failings that he wants us to feel are significant when it comes to Trump.
