CALLER: Thanks for taking my call. Just as a... You know, you have always led us conservatives through some pretty dark times. And there were few places to turn. You never let us down. You always gave us perspective and truth. So I just kind of wanted to say that. But to get to my point, you know, last week you were discussing Trump and the way he talked about "we have to get rid of the lines around the state" during the debate. Well, I have a different take on that. Not only did he say it that way -- and you suggested it was because of his advisors that were kind of, you know, doing a tutorial for him for interstate insurance commerce.
And then also, the thing that bothers me is that when he comments regarding his and the Democrats touchback program -- which is theoretically what it is when he said we're going to do: Send them back and let the good ones back in -- you know, Trump isn't this inarticulate. I think he does it to dumb down his speech. I think he does it to mislead and not have to give explanations. And it keeps his comments kind of on the remedial side. And that's how I look at this. I know it's different from what you think, but it's how I feel. I think he's talking to a base that he doesn't have a lot of confidence in.

I think Trump does it mainly so Rush can figure it out. But it looks like Rush is still struggling some.

These ‘ers’ words, like “Birthers”, “truthers”, are nothing but third grade level words because the users are too dumb to use proper English.
Rush is on there now with a caller, supposedly explaining that he is not really a Trump supporter. Total misdirection.
Why won’t the conservatives support Cruz? Boo hoo.
Maybe it’s called an election, Rush. Maybe people like Trump. Maybe they don’t like Cruz as much.
MSM has to love the Trump obsession.
Why?
Because then MSM can ignore the real scandal: Hillary running for president rather than sitting in jail waiting for trial.
Trump is winning like Obama did. Hope and Change. Stick on message. Complain about all the bad things but give no real solutions (other than build a wall and winning).
Isn’t that what Trump did with all his opponents guilt by rumor. I’d say Trump is the king of that.
Seems like Trump won with the least educated voters.
And the most educated voters Rush.
Let’s recap: Rush Limbaugh repeatedly said he “liked” Trump, he constantly praised Trump’s abilities.
All because he wanted Trump to take out Jeb Bush. Then Rush decided it was time to start pushing the real one who is supposed to win.
But there is another problem. Rush has to admit Cruz is the most true conservative. But Rush wants GOPe Rubio!
And it’s even come out that Rush was playing nice with the Rubio/ Graham / Schumer group.
This is all obvious to anyone who listens to Rush every day, which I do.
And I’m getting sick of him.
This is pretty perplexing. This is why Rush will not endorse anyone. Maybe it would hurt his listener base. The American majority does not want anything to do with the status quo, self-serving, establishment Washington pukes. It should be real clear to EVERYONE by now.
Hillary,Bernie,Ted and Paul Ryan sound exactly the same. If I put up their quotes you couldn’t tell the difference.

What Trump is doing is not ‘talking down’ to the voters and looking down his nose at them like the career politicians and lawyers (but I repeat myself) do.
The way Trump communicates is much like you used to do on your show before you became a shill for the elite and talking down to your audience and looking down your nose at them.
