RUSH: Just to illustrate the disconnect for you. This has nothing to do with whether you're a conservative mad at Trump or whether you're a Trumpster mad at the establishment or what have you. Tom Brokaw is the establishment. Tom Brokaw epitomizes it. Tom Brokaw is the face of it! And he's on with other members of the establishment, Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie, and they're all wringing their hands over, "Wha-wha-wha-what's going on with the Republican campaign? Why is there so much anger?"
And here is what Brokaw said...
BROKAW: President Obama promised change, but he initiated a blue state agenda: Health care overhaul, same-sex marriage, and met intractable GOP opposition. Congressional Republicans were not interested in negotiation or compromise. They had their own problems with the Tea Party.
RUSH: It's NBC special correspondent Tom Brokaw report on why Americans... There's actually a special NBC report on why Americans are angry, and that's it. They couldn't be further wrong if they tried to be. What do you mean, Republicans were "intractable"? Did not everything Obama wanted happen? We've got Obamacare, we've got gay marriage, we've got everything! Everything that he was serious about trying to accomplish, he's got. Well, maybe you throw Gitmo out of there, but what "intractable GOP opposition"? There wasn't any!

This is how far off the beaten path these people in the establishment are. They are so cliched, they're in a time warp. They're back 30 years ago, 20 years ago. It's still the "angry white male," as far as they're concerned. "The angry white males are a bunch of Republicans, and they hate 'progressives,' and they don't understand modernization. They don't understand moving forward. They don't understand compromise." That has nothing to do with why Trump's where he is right now. Or, more properly stated, it has nothing to do with why people don't trust Tom Brokaw, Matt Lauer, or any other members of the establishment.
It isn't about that.

I am beginning to feel Rush is not to far behind.
Compromise? There’s no room left for compromise. We’ve been pushed to the edge of the cliff. Compromise further means jumping off. Or we can refuse to jump off (i.e. compromise) and stand on the edge and fight. I’m for fighting.
Trump turnout has set records in IA, NH, SC and NV. Meanwhile the Dems have been flat to down 33%
Chelsea spoke to 7 people, Hillary rallies have been anemic next to Bernie’s
Trump is grabbing crossovers from Dems, and Indies.
Blacks and Hispanics like Trump in numbers that can switch several states.
If the establishment wasn’t so worried about getting rich they should support Trump widening the GOP base.
In Mass. the GOP had over 20,000 party switches to GOP.
No Republican won there since RR.
Trump can contest NY, NJ, CT, PA, and other blue northeast states, this will make this a costly race for dems defending many of their base states. Hillary can’t win any of the Republican states, big advantage Trump
If Bernie a 70 year old socialist who isn’t even a Dem can make Hillary sweat , what will she do against a guy who has rallies of 25 to 35 thousand. Trump has enthusiastic crowds, all the energy will be with Trump, the Bernie people hate Hillary.

We have known for a long time that Tom Brokaw, Matt Lauer, or any other members of the establishment, are and have been for a long time, out of touch with the wishes of the voters.
Such information today is tedious and repetitious.
Not quite. 20,000 voters left the democrat party. 17,000 went independent. 3000 registered as republican. Not much, and uncertain what they intend to do after the primary is over.
Poor old Tom. He is becoming more irrelevant every day.

"Why don't these conservative haters love socialist initiatives and spending the country into incurable debt" they wail. Nothing has changed in fifty years.
They know they are wrong, it is blind propaganda and it destroying the elite because the anger is just growing.
They are past the stupidity stage. He is the little boy trying to stop the leak in the damn when the whole thing is about to give away.
