Obama created the precedent. Trump is just going to run with it.

And that is where I have an issue with him saying he is a conservative. If you look at the comments over the past 8 years on this website, you will soon realize that if you are going to follow in the footsteps of Obama, you are not doing the right thing for the country.
I would also think that a real conservative would distance himself from a liberal the likes of Obama.
