(Loser) Mitt Romney: Donald Trump is a 'phony, a fraud'
CNN ^ | March 3, 2016 | By Catherine Treyz

Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney thinks "Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud" and that he's "playing the American public for suckers," according to prepared remarks provided by Romney to CNN.

According to the former Massachusetts governor, "the only serious policy proposals that deal with the broad range of national challenges we confront have come from Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich."

Romney is expected to remark on some what-ifs about Trump becoming president. "His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president," Romney is expected to say.

Romney will also touch on a "twisted example of evil trumping good: "Trump's claims that he admires Russian President Vladimir Putin while calling "George W. Bush a liar."

You can attacks the messenger to your heart’s content, but 81st the end of the day the message is spot on. Donald Trump was embarrassingly clueless on major issues such as healthcare calling his plan “something great.” When Wolf Blitzer asked him during the debate about how he would reduce a $500 billion deficit, a clearly clueless Donald Trump tossed out getting rid of the Department of Education adding Common Core as a qualifier plus vaguely alluding to EPA regulations. When informed that eliminating both only amounts to $45 billion, a befuddled Trump had nothing to offer. Finally, its a valid point to assess Trump’s Howard Dean moment going after Bush over “lying” about WMDs. Its like we’re back in 2008 and Obama’s foreign policy disasters never happened not that Trump knows anything about the subject.

This is just what the DemonRATs have been waiting for. When Republicans use Alinsky tactics to fight other Republicans, that is one less dime the DemonRATs have to spend fighting Republicans. What is ironic is this money could have been used to fight DemonRATs. In fact our Republican leaders in Congress just laid down and did not lift a finger against the Obama Regime. What is going on with these stupid stupid people?

As this is going on the Lamestream is having a financial hay day as readers buy newspapers to find out what is the next episode in this Republican soap opera.

That video was posted on Feb. 23.

Is that the same date is the actual event?

It seems unbelievable to me that Romney would be stupid enough to trash Trump today after being videotaped publicly praising him as recently as two weeks ago.

Planet Kolob rising ... Romney could have written this about himself ... his obvious self-loathing was the real dealbreaker last time ...

Congrats! Now go proudly stand in the corner with Romney and his “spot on” diatribe.

I’ll bet you think he’s gonna be so soft and easy on Cruz, dont you? If you high-five Mitt, he’ll just be right on Team Cruz!

Romney calls this moment A “TIME FOR CHOOSING” that will “have profound consequences for the Republican Party and more importantly, for the country.”

Emphasis mine.

Interesting coincidence that leads me to wonder if this isn’t a talking point. It certainly ‘’cheapens’’ the phrase, as it becomes a cliche.

1. The title of a book by Ted Cruz
2. A quote from this Politico article, posted today on FR by Helicondelta

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3404499/posts

from the article (Again, emphasis mine)

‘’Calling Trump “your guy,” Beeson tweeted at Schlapp: “There comes A TIME FOR CHOOSING … and you have made your choice.”’’

(Rich Beeson, to whom the Tweet is attributed, is Rubio’s deputy campaign manager. He sent the tweet to Matt Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union.)

and now, (3.) Mitt Romney, quoted initially.

Cruz, the Rubio campaign, Mitt. . . hmmm

So today is Thursday. What really burns my ass is that Mittens’ taking an ax to the GOP frontrunner will dominate media coverage from this afternoon through the Sunday MSM shows. In fact, Mittens will probably be on the Sunday MSM shows, which means coverage of his crap will sloff over into next week. Another week when I’ll have to turn to Christian radio in order to escape the inane crap on regular talk radio. I’m becoming a big fan of “Focus on the Family!” Ay yi yi!

The GOPe needs to stop this and let the natural flow of the nomination process work this out.

Do Democrats do this to their candidates?

Waiting to see if the earlier report from the so called:

“Republican foreign policy veterans rebuke Trump World view:

Plays a part in the Mitt show tonight? The timing appears right. And of course it’s getting picked up elsewhere.

look at the lawsuits and tax audits against Trump now that he outed himself as a Republican. I had to kiss libs ass because he’s into real estate and building in cities. Today’s Trump is the real Trump imho. He merely played lip services to Libs. Its like someome playing nice with the Mafia so they don’t shake him down
