He would suffer a Goldwater style defeat.” No, the most principled Republican in thirty years would be running against the least principled Democrat in the history of the Republic.
This is a match-up I would enjoy. These are debates for which I would have friends over and make popcorn. This campaign season, finally, would be fun.

I can’t believe they managed to capture whatever-it-was in that much detail.
Well, whether a spit bubble or a booger, it kinda reminds me of a seldom revealed secret about the late George Jones and his hit “He Stopped Loving Her Today”.
If you have an old vinyl copy, you put it on the turntable and spin it backwards, and instead of the opening words “He said I’ll love you til I die”, you will hear George distinctly say “Eat a lot o’ sh*t”.
Which is what the next President, no matter who it is, is going to probably have to do.
I won’t vote for Cruz. He has proved to be an establishment Bushlike sellout drunk on ambition.

Last night’s debate further confirms the unfortunate truth that Donald Trump is just common white trash with money.

I’ve been on FR for over a decade and I honestly don’t remember vicious personal attacks like I see coming from Trump supporters.
