The only thing these moslems understand is fear. Something must be done to put the fear of the Lord in them.
Prior to this year, on matters of defense and dealing with terrorists his comments have been much stronger than this one. My hunch is that he's tailoring his comments in a bid to secure his re-election in a tenuous district.
If that's true, it's NOT a smart strategy for Kinzinger to isolate his base like this. He keeps this up and he's going to be out of office come November. Plenty in his district (and I know a fair number of people in his district ...) were very unhappy with him last time around. This certainly isn't going to sit well with them.
