As you just saw by Freepmail, I’ve done some calculations. Even giving Cruzbio places like KS, AZ, UT and a couple of others (even a couple of the “winner take all” states), I put Trump at about 1380 delegates when this is done. It’s entirely possible he winds up with 1400 delegates.
Glad he dumped CPAC when he heard there was going to be a walkout.

I do support Ted Cruz but have no argument with Donald Trump’s ‘nutcracker’ firmly embracing the Republican Establishment’s ‘gonads’.
I still want to see Ted win, the only option for the GOPe I see and dare I say demand is ‘unconditional surrender’ to Ted Cruz with Ted being able to make all the moves to defeat Trump and being given the final say in all matters.
Still if Trump wins, I accept that but will not support Trump if he has a GOPe running mate.

KY: WKU Poll, Feb. 22-26; MOE 4.3%: Trump 35%, Rubio 22%, Cruz 15%, Kasich 6%.
I guess that leaves 22% undecided or used to belong to Carson, etc. It’s hard to see Rubio beating Trump, and hard to see Cruz picking up 20% out of the 22% undecided, even if this is rather old data. While in KY I’ve seen an anti-Trump ad on TV - the usual KKK connection and other nonsense — the type of ad that just makes you want to change channels, even if it attacked the candidate I oppose. I’m not sure who was behind it. Can’t anyone ask a real question anymore?
IL: RCP avg., Feb. 15-24; MOE 3.0%: Trump 33%, Rubio 17.5%, Cruz 15.5%, Kasich 11%; leaving 23% undecided or unknown.
I’d be inclined to think Rubio would have a shot - most of the Pubs left in IL are “moderate”, but he did so poorly in the last debate, and Kasich would tend to pull from him... Cruz would have to double his support to win. I’ve not seen any ads in IL, but have not watched much TV from IL stations, either.
BTW, am I correct in saying that on Super Tuesday, states Trump did not win were all states in which he did not hold rallies a week or 2 prior to the Primary?
Trump is down to only a 5 point lead in Florida. There are 10 days left so he will likely fall behind next week
