And he just signaled this week that the deportation is going to go away in his negotiation and never happen by saying twice “at this point” it’s going to happen.

In fact I do believe he will start with deporting the criminal foreigners that local and federal LEOs can identify and find, and then squeeze off much of the rest from receiving pay or sending remittances and broadening and strictly enforcing employment prohibitions for illegal aliens causing them to increasingly self deport, while simultaneously building the wall section by section.
