LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Kentucky's first ever presidential caucus is Saturday, and Republican Party officials worked feverishly Friday on the final touches.

ust about every county in Kentucky has a polling location. Jefferson County has nine. Find your caucus location

Some of the locations are at schools, so officials had to wait until school was out to set up.

The polls open at 10 a.m. Saturday and close at 4 p.m

We should expect lots of cheating and manipulation by the GOPe and Cruz operatives in any caucus state.

My wife caucused today for Cruz in our county. I would have but I am recovering from surgery and been down last few days. She said lines were steady but no real waiting, mainly any time taken was finding voters names on the rolls. She said she saw two girls with Cruz tee shirts at the poll.

That is because the Cruz folks are so far behind in delegate count, they are feeling very frustrated.

Totally understandable.

Can you just walk in and vote or do you have to go through all the brouhaha of letting them convince you to vote there way? Also is it private? Or are you expected to publicly vote? Like at a New England town meeting? I don’t get it.
