Federal prosecutors Friday charged the head of an obscure Virginia organization with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, outlining a years-long scheme to defraud donors out of about $800,000 by using the power and influence of an unnamed public official. The facts presented in court papers point to U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown as that official.

Well, Bill and Hillary have acquired a huge fortune doing the same thing and nobody has prosecuted them.
She will be reelected in her cell.
Looks like Corrine took a timeout from playing the race card to playing the credit card (somebody else’s).
The only thing ‘unnamed’ about the elected official was his political affiliation.
Sad, but true.

The reporter seems to have missed that detail.
Although, since "Republican" didn't show up in the headline or first sentence, I made the same assumption as you.
The Race Card: Feared everywhere. Play it first, play it last, play it often. No expiration date.

This woman is a big time race-baiting liberal black democrat welfare fraud machine politician in FL. Not surprising for her to be involved in a skim operation and defrauding donors as well as national party. It’s what she does.... cause, as her signs say: “Corrine Delivers!!”
The golf tournament was at TPC Sawgrass— a major high profile course. The flyers and online solicitation had the signature of the congresswoman (the event was called the Corrine Brown Invitational!!LOL) and the official seal of the House of Representatitves. A no-no even for that.
Under the Just-Us department, not a problem for the One Door 501c(3) organization or the IRS apparently.
