I see a lot of people who are voting for Trump. Especially after what Romney said! The ones who are not voting for Trump are voting for Cruz. Not Rubio. So far I do not see any signs or stickers.

Let’s assume that Trump runs as a third party candida

Trump was not talking about running 3rd party. He was talking about the buzz that the GOPE would run Romney or some other Establishment guy as the spoiler. If Trump or Cruz wins, I think that might just happen. Remember they did that with John Anderson against Reagan in 1980.

Vote out the dirtbags attempting to steal our will.

Would be good to have a list of names.

Cruz won’t do it ..while we have been busy debating against each other, the GOPe was busy buying Cruz into staying in the race to weaken Trump for the convention ...Robots’s wife calling Cruz’s wife is proof of this... the Cruz and Robot tag teaming and backslapping against Trump is further proof of this

Yep. We’re being had. A lot going on behind the scenes. It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Rubio drop out of the race for a month after losing Florida and then reappear when more liberal states come up. Cruzbio are clearely one GOPe team now. They never attack each other now.

We’ll see soon enough, won’t we?

Cruz is despised in Washington, he defeated Dewhurst, he refused to be brought into line on the budget and Obamacare votes, he called McConnell out for being a liar. He refuses to play their game and they absolutely loathe him. Graham just a week or so ago joked that if Cruz was killed on the Senate floor and the jury was made up of fellow Senators, the killer would walk away.

You really think the establishment that jokes about killing Cruz on the Senate floor have somehow decided that he is one of them?

You honestly think that Cruz, who has gotten as far as he has by opposing them, would be bought off?

If Trump goes into the Convention with 1,150 votes, who has the other 1,323?

Right now Rubio has 118. If he wins Florida, he will have 217. Let’s be generous and say he gets up to 250 before he drops out.

Kasich? Sitting on 30 right now, if he won Ohio, he would have another 66, so let’s give him 150 to be very generous.

Between those that have dropped out, there is a grand total of 15.

So 1,150 for Trump, let us say. 250 for Rubio, 150 for Kasich, 15 for those who have withdrawn. That leaves Cruz with 908 delegates.

I won’t go into the who 40(b) situation, let’s just look at what it would take for someone to win the nomination on the first ballot. Both Rubio and Kasich would have to give Cruz their delegate for him to hit 1308, barely enough to win on the first ballot.

That’s not going to happen, because as you say, they want a GOP establishment guy to run. So you expect Cruz, who is less than 350 votes from winning outright, to allow the GOP establishment to belittle the run that both he and Donald Trump had?

Get real.

Cruz will give his delegates to Trump and Trump will win the nomination with over 2,000 votes.

That’s why Cruz dismissed the idea outright of a contested convention. As of right now, he and Trump together have over half the delegates needed to win the nomination.

Cruz is young and can be patient. He can sit as Vice-President for eight years and gain the prominence and experience for a run after Trump leaves. The only person more powerful than a king is a kingmaker. And that is the part Cruz will play.

The I-4 corridor is the swing area of Florida ...signage and stickers are usually a very good indicator in that area ..I have friends there that tell me that they have seen many Trump signs although that area is notorious for sign theft ...I used to live there..

I sat down with a spreadsheet and broke apart this scenario with the House voting for the President, when the Electoral College did not muster the 270.

There are some interesting aspects. First, there are three states with split Republican-Democrat votes. One must assume they’d stay that way, but I’m not really convinced of that.

Second, at best, Hillary can only muster 14 states.

Third, I think Trump could take and hold 12 states (mostly those with low counts, like Alaska, Wyoming, etc). If this were true, then the thug-pretender-GOP guy can only get 21 votes (because of the three split states).

My humble guess is that they’d vote once and then realize that some Republicans weren’t reading the script from the Fairfax crowd and apply pressure. Trump might also apply pressure and let various states know that he’ll approve base or port funding, etc. The Fairfax crowd would then threaten certain states, and find that they really are hostile about threats. A second day of voting would show Trump going up three or four states.

At some point, I think the Democratic states would look over the mess and slide one or two states over to the GOP supported guy.

In the end, there would be such negative coverage....that roughly fifty-percent of GOP voters would vow for a decade to only vote against the GOP. In 2018, it’d be a massive slide toward the Democrats, and a number of GOP players would just resign or walk off.

All of this....I think...would lead to a 3rd party by 2020. The GOP, at that point....would be finished as a national party and never go over the 20-percent point in voting. Kinda of a sad way to go, but it’s remarkable that the public didn’t figure out their gimmick pretender show there in the midst of the Bush years.

I doubt Sabato knows how a brokered convention would work. As for his dream of H. Clinton winning, it is merely projection or a dream on his part.

The brokered convention is probably being talked about to try and suppress the Trump vote. It isnt logical. Trump and his supporters have the Nwo crowd in a panic. We need to win.

Cruz is a Nwo guy. Lets see if he wants to side with the people. I doubt he does . But we can hope.

Want to see Cruz become the most hated man in the history of Republican leadership? He just has to hand the crown to Trump in exchange for the VP slot.

The GOP establishment would have nowhere to go and no recourse after that.

Yep, as Cruz continues to dominate the rest of the field he will be the only other candidate next to Trump. Together they will have the lion's share of the delegates. I also catch a glimmer of admiration in Trump for Cruz, in that Cruz is winning. Trump respects winners. Hopefully they can get past the personal issues for the sake of the nation. If they make a deal, it's going to be elation at FR and then some.

I can tell you that everyone I know is voting either Trump or Cruz. Not Rubio. I am sure there are a lot of Trump signs in Orlando and around I-4 but I am north of Orlando and have not seen any yet. Of course, the liberal newspaper Orlando Sentinel endorsed Rubio a few days ago. That will not make him win. Trump had over 10,000 people at his rally in Orlando today. Thousands more did not get in. People are more than ready to vote here. lol!

The dirty secret is that there are no personal issues. That’s what many Freepers just don’t get. It’s bluster and rhetoric, Trump and Cruz can work together because they don’t take the insults and attacks personally or seriously.

90% of Freepers would cheer for joy if the two got together. The other 10% will go insane.

I don’t want Cruz to be anyone’s VP, I want him as President.

But you are right.... you think DC if full of crap NOW? Every single one of them in DC would crap their pants.
That be the best thing ever.

It’s too bad Trump has scorched too much earth with Cruz and his supporters.

I don’t think Trump has scorched the earth nearly as much as many of his supporters have. We need to all heed JimRob’s call for a cease fire and just promote our own guy without ripping down the other.

No Cruz and Romney, McCain, Rubio. They’re all big buddies now. You don’t remember Thursday? He’s totally in the “Cartel” after all that. Rubios’s BFF.

“90% of Freepers would cheer for joy if the two got together. The other 10% will go insane.” That was my hope back before all the shooting started. I am though, bothered by the NWO stuff ion which Cruz and his wife appear to be involved. That’s a Boosh/CFR posltion.
