I had the privilege of working with a number of manufacturing sites across the state in my old job. There is a terrific manufacturing workforce in Ohio, union and non-union. Craftsmen, dedication, quality-conscious, made in the U.S.A. pride. They have suffered. I want it back.

Ohio lost 112,500 jobs in 2015 resulting from the United States' trade deficit with countries that are part of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement … The lost jobs represent nearly 2.2 percent of employment in Ohio… While the countries have reached final agreement on the trade accord, it probably will not go into effect for several months.

So 2.2% of all jobs in Ohio have been lost because of some trade agreement that hasn't gone into effect yet? Anyone else skeptical?

It's like these are the projections of some anti-TPP group, whose results disagree with the projections of the pro-TPP groups. (There's a shock.) How many economic models are there? The same as the number of economists.

What jobs has the other candidates brought to Americans?

Does the H1B visa bill have the teeth of what happened with the Disney workers, they got to ‘train’ the people and after they were trained then they lost their jobs?

Didn’t Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz write the TTP-TPA bill?
http://paulryan.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=398270

And people are complaining that Trump employs thousands of people all over the World...then he knows what it like to do business in other countries, how many other candidates know how to do that?

Ohio Ping

Ohio’s current ranking is a dismal 38th in job creation,

While John Kasich has actively opposed right to work, and any other union related reforms since 2011, job growth in Ohio has been outpaced by most other US states while the overall number of Ohioans participating in the workforce continues to decline.
