So 2.2% of all jobs in Ohio have been lost because of some trade agreement that hasn’t gone into effect yet? Anyone else skeptical?
It’s like these are the projections of some anti-TPP group, whose results disagree with the projections of the pro-TPP groups. (There’s a shock.) How many economic models are there? The same as the number of economists.

Thanks for pointing that out. Checked the article and found what is below. Ohio is hurting for jobs either way.

However, it should be mentioned that they at least brought the TPP into the conversation. Faux News hasn’t even mentioned the TPP, to my knowledge. I have heard it mentioned on other networks though.

From article

Early reaction to EPI’s report has predictably reflected the opposing views of TPP’s supporters and opponents. Opponents, including unions, have said the analysis is spot-on. Supporters, including the Obama Administration, which has championed TTP, have questioned its findings.

For example, a spokesman for the Office of the United States Trade Representative, said the report’s methodology is flawed. The report includes some estimates based on an analysis of government data.

“The method EPI uses to create these numbers was given ‘Four Pinocchios’ by The Washington Post’s independent fact checker last year for being a ‘whopper’, yet they continue to use it,”

‘Four Pinocchios’ from the WaPo are usually a badge of honor. (Nothing really deserves ‘Four Pinocchios’ unless it's published by them, the NY Times, or LA Times.
