If Trump doesn't get the nomination, I would have voted for Cruz...IF he hadn't been born in Canada under circumstances that in the very least strongly suggest that he is not eligible. Doesn't matter how conservative he is, he isn't a natural born citizen. His father was not an American citizen, and his mother had previously been married to a Brit, may not have lived in the US over 10 years, 5 of which past her 14th birthday, and may even have not been a US citizen at the time of Ted's birth.

Cruz seems like a good man (maybe not ready for prime-time judging by some of the trashy moves made by his campaign staff that he should have reeled in much earlier that he did), and I would be happy to see him on the SCOTUS or in the senate...But I can't countenance the further erosion of the Constitution that his election to the presidency would cause.

More outright lies. Her first husband was a US citizen from Ft. Worth who lived in London. They lived in London. That 14 yr old stuff wouldn’t apply to his mother because she was born a US citizen. She moved in 1960 to London was divorced and remarried 1969 in the US before giving birth to Cruz in 1970. Google before you post this crap.
