(TRUNEWS) Pregnant women may soon be forced to make a difficult decision to abort their babies or giving up their organs after birth.
National Health Service (NHS), the publically funded healthcare system in the U.K. is proposing that women be "supported" to carry the child to term for the sole purpose of harvesting the babys organs. There is currently a shortage of donated organs, according to The Express. The mother could choose not to have their child's organs removed by choosing abortion instead if tests during pregnancy determined the baby may have a birth defect.
In some cases, if the mother has agreed to donation, a "brain dead" baby could be kept alive so their organs are "fresh" when doctors remove them.
The idea was unveiled at a medical conference at the British Transplantation Society in Glasgow, according to the Daily Mirror.
An NHS representative talked to Mail Online and promised women would not be pressured.
A committee has been set up by NHS Blood and Transplant to promote more organ donation from newborns and babies. Doctors wish to harvest the organs of about 100 babies a year, up from 11 in the past two years.
There is a market for baby body parts. Last year in the U.S. it was revealed through a series of undercover videos that Planned Parenthood sold the organs from aborted children to researchers.
NHS denies reports women will be pressurised to have babies so their organs can be harvested
NHS categorically dismisses claims it was looking into proposals for ‘baby organ harvesting’

Actually the NHS doesnt. I see a lot of claims on FR, usually we UK freepers end up correcting myths and claims.
Thank you.
Europe claims they have such a low birthrate that they must import workers because their population is ageing and dying.
England’s NHS wants women to gestate organ donors. For whom?
Barbaric and ghastly. What horrid gouls.
Kill the baby, but feed, house and clothe the criminal.
They’ve got it backwards.
I proposed long ago that death sentences be carried out by rendering the criminal unconscious, removing all usable organs and other parts for transplantation or research then draining all blood. Discard the remainder.
Not “pressure,” just offer as an option.
Please read the post by myself and Harkin. Which contain news links.
Harkin’s post explains this. This is for babies who will not survive more than a few days. It is simply using organs of the deceased, in this case newly borns. NOT the nonsense the OP link auggests.
‘like everything from the UK like pregnancy pacts and other assorted evils’
eh?.
Wotcha sayin’ then guvnor?.
Truthfully, it's hard to see how God will continue to restrain His wrath on our nation, when, on the PP videos-the people who laugh about butchering, and profiting from, baby parts go free-While the whistle-blower is indicted.
Do people not bother following threads and updates?.
The only way we would ever find out about such babies is if a pregnant woman expressed a wish to donate the babys organs and they were referred to us by their clinical team because they have asked for this. We will then do what we can to support the family to do what is best for them."
You have to be pretty dense not to be able to read between the lines of the NHS statement, to see where this leads: Eventually financial incentives for women to not only carry their "unwanted" babies to full term for organ harvesting purposes, but also to becoming pregnant in the first place for such.
This is the most macabre, lowest, that mankind and motherhood has sunk to date. May God have mercy on those of us who must share this world with such a sub human species as the promoters of this, before unimagined, Evil!
Good. Thank you.
Ah, thank you for that detail...devil’s in the details as it often is.
Firstly, don’t insult people with terms like dense.
Secondly, that’s your interpretation. Nothing more.
That is the poster’s interpretation of future potential events. I prefer to deal with the facts.
Not “pressure,” but provide “support.” Got it.
Read Harkin’s post, he makes the point on this well. This article is a distorted sham.
