Where is your clothing made?
All that tells me is that he doesn’t wear all the uber expensive name brand crap that all the celebrities wear. How many of wear anything made in the U.S? I’d guess less than 10 %. To me, Trump wearing clothing made in China is not a big deal at all. It’s a good thing as far as I’m concerned for the reasons listed above.
I’m wearing the united nations.
Boots made in Brazil, Shirt made in Taiwan, Pants made in Korea.
The clothes I lend my name to or manufacture? Well, I’ve made a shirt and helped my daughter make a skirt once. They were made in Arkansas.
“Where is your clothing made?”
Well, I doubt that there is ANY clothing made in the US anymore! Nor shoes either.
Oh, good, yeah.
Where is my clothing made?
Totally explains why Donald Trump says one thing and does another.
My shoes were made in England. Would you believe that?
Yes, Steelfish, do you examine labels for clothing, furniture, food, electronics and personal care items and make sure you only buy American so that you cannot be thought a hypocrite on this issue?
One of my family members wanted an American-made sweatshirt with hood for a gift. It cost three to four times as much as the ones available in typical middle-class stores that I can afford. Same with any clothing I might like to have for mayself. Virtually every middle and upper-middle label is made abroad.
I agree with Trump, our trade deals are terrible; we should be able to afford to manufacture here in America again, but we won't be able to unless some tough negotiations are done to re-secure our own marketplaces.
So I'm voting for Trump, because he recognized the need for better trade deals, educated the People about the need, and knows how to negotiate better trade deals.
