More like Romney than I thought.

In 2012 Romney spoke out of both sides of his mouth—every day.

Stealing has now been added to “conservative principles”.

I thought he said just last week that it was idiotic of the establishment to consider engineering the convention outcome.

I have been ready to vote for either Cruz or Trump.

But if Cruz can’t cut it as a candidate, and a man, then screw him.

You either WIN or you CRUZ!

There we go again. He just said he wouldn’t support a contested convention and quickly flipped. Cruz must think he can win, but he won’t. He will be replaced by Romney.

Of course not. None of them do. They are hoping the GOPe will shepherd them in over Trump.

Did anyone read Trump’s own words? “I agree with him he should be saying exactly that. The difference is I can get there.”

If this doesn’t tell folks what Ted is, nothing will.

GOPe bought and paid for.

Does or did Mrs. Cruz work for Goldman Sachs? Is on leave from them? Anyone know?

Trump needs to make a smock for Cruz to wear to the next debate, emblazoned with all of the logo patches of his donors.....this is actually what the California legislature is proposing for legislators to wear when speaking from the floor......for all the world to see who is sponsoring who.

It is called ‘Nascar Politics’

I guess I have mixed feelings about a contested convention. I get that if one of the candidates does not have a lock on the required delegates then they have to do something else. It's the way conventions used to be in the 19th and early 20th century. But if the GOPe tries to thwart the will of the people who voted in the primaries and pull some loser like Romney out of their asses as a "compromise candidate, I'm afraid for me it will be "no sale".

We're all going to have to accept the fact that the GOPe would rather lose to Hillary than win with Trump.

This bothers me. If it is REALLY a two- way numbers tie, or close to that, then fine, open the convention. But if Trump has the required number of delegates, or a few under, then he is the nominee. I say this not because I want Trump, because I don’t, but because anything else is immoral, unethical, dishonest and just plain wrong.

He figured out he can’t win fair and square.
He bailed last night because he knew he had no way of winning, so he got ‘sick’ and hid like a little girl.

Trump should be able to use all the contested convention talk.

Point out how dirty, disgusting, nasty, divisive it is likely to be. That even now republicans are arguing that we SHOULD ignore the winner in delegates. The rules say that people does not necessarily win the nomination, but it’s hard to make the case to voters that it’s fair unless the actual nominee have overwhelming support (and there is no such person right now)

The process will be more vulgar than anything Trump has said. No matter who becomes the nominee it will give Hilary an advantage. And it gives the democrats a better chance of getting the senate back if it’s divisive.

If you don’t want a contested convention Trump will very soon be the only choice. The real decision will then be Trump or Hillary.

I’d guess he’s making that case behind the scenes to potential endorsers and those who want to attack him now but are worried about the divisive convention.
