Seems like you have a problem with reading comprehension though. He said “in the event neither he nor Donald Trump secures enough delegates before then to lock up the Republican presidential nomination.” If neither of them have enough delegates, it’s the only course of action.

Nope. Romney didn’t win 1237 delegates.

He fell short by hundreds of delegates.

He got the nomination because he finished first.

I’m not going to vote for any nominee selected by the GOP.

And I don’t support anyone who supports such a scenario.

Comprehend that.

Is that true?
I had hoped that based on earlier comments, if it came to the last few states and he saw that by splitting the vote Trump would not reach 1237 he would suspend his campaign and ask his delegates to go for Trump, as to not let the GOP thwart the will of the voters.

If he did that he would become a conservative ‘God’. His word and his future would become golden.
Too bad he is human and ambitious.

Disingenuous argument because you know the base won’t come out on top at a GOPe brokered convention. Apparently, you’re fine with that. Cruz could easily say he supports whoever gets the most delegates getting the nom. He isn’t and we all know why. Cruz is playing for the establishment now and begging for their crumbs.

which is why Cruz will stay in . He wants that convention as that is the only way he thinks he can get the nomination, sad part is that the establishment is propping him now, but will stab him right in the back if Cruz gets what he wants.

The GOP plan is for no one to have the required number of delegates. That’s why Rubio and Kasich who have zero chance of the nomination hang around. It’s why Cruz will soon join that group.

In a normal election, Republicans would vote and when they see the likely nominee, they start to coalesce around that candidate. They don’t normally conspire to stop their own frontrunner. They’re killing us with this crap and Cruz is every bit as guilty as the GOP. In fact, he’s now joined forces with the GOP.

Right. It's how it is done. The rules of the convention state that you have to have a certain number of delegates. If no one has that required number, you're going to have to hash it out at the convention floor until someone does. Whining about the rules that everyone knew about going into it would just be .... whining.

The BROKERED CONVENTION is going on right now, as we speak, pre-convention, so that Ted can get his CONTESTED convention, by the time Cleveland convenes.

The brokers are:

Jeb Bush
Ted Cruz
John Kasich
Mitt Romney
Paul Ryan
Mitch McConnell
Rinse Prebush
Mr. Pac Money

Our Trumpettes see anything anyone does against their Dear Leader as a conspiracy. The statement is quite clear and I'm not sure what our Trumpettes would expect otherwise.

If the Orange Lord doesn't get the necessary delegates, there's a floor fight. Simple as that. Does he expect Cruz to step aside and just give him the nomination?
