I am of that last generation that embraces the concept of responsibility.
If a human being is part of conceiving a child they have a responsibility to nurture and raise that child.

I mentioned the issue of abortion earlier in the context of a reply to a poster I thought was accusing me of being a liberal and progressive. Which I am not. I was pointing out that I am a conservative, but centrist-pragmatist on some issues. Abortion being one. Prostitution another.

1—I oppose it unless medically needed or if the pregnant female is so due to rape/abuse.
2—Opposed to abortions without parental consent in the UK under 16 (our age of consent). Until then, they are still legally children and the parents legal guardians. I oppose abortions and the pill for under 16s in the UK without parental consent.
