Rubio denies getting our before Florida...but his turnout tells a different story
March 9. 2016 | Jeff Head

Posted on 03/09/2016 9:38:14 PM PST by Jeff Head

Rubio announced Wednesday night on Fox that he is not dropping out of the race before Florida.

"No. I am not dropping out, I am fighting all the way through. We’re going to win Florida...and this election changes completely, and it gives us the momentum to go forward to win the nomination."
But apparently someone forgot to tell the people

Rubio turnout for at Hialeah stadium in southeast Florida.

When he attends such rallies, it has to be obvious to him.

Meanwhile, Trump, who is leading in the polls is getting these types of turnouts in Flrida.

'nuff said.

If Rubio would finish his current Senaorial term, and really turn his act around and show that he knows he screwed up with the Gang of 8 thing and became a true conservative in deed...he might be a player again in a few years.

As it is...if he rides this horse and pony show down in flames...he likely to ensure that he will not ever get elected to major office there again.

His plan ‘b’ is to run for Florida governor in two years. Hard to say if they will buy off on his approach. And I’m wondering what the competition will be like.

If this guy had done some real work, and had a real resume...maybe around age 50, he would have appealed to more people. Besides President Obama....Rubio’s resume is about as weak as you can get.

You echo my sentiments exactly. I’m very willing to give anyone a second chance. If Rubio wants to disavow Gang of Eight, he needs to get back into the Senate and show me through actions that what we’ve seen previously has given way to maturity and commitment to what got him elected in the first place.

and became a true conservative in deed

If you are supporting Trump, how could that be a concern of yours?

But the problem is, he’s already shown that his conservatism is an act. That cannot be undone. Down the road, no matter how sincere he presents his conservatism, even in deed, it will be irrelevant because he’s already let slip that he’s a phony. That’s not something that’s going to just change overnight, if ever. You don’t, one morning, just wake up and become trustworthy all of a sudden. You don’t one morning wake up and become sincere, when you’ve been a phony all your adult life.

Im so tired of all this “Trump isnt conservative enough” crap.

Like tackling the debt, jobs and the economy, and immigration are not Conservative issues.

Marco could have held that rally on a basketball court, and still not fill up the venue.

No one more conservative than Trump on building the Wall.

No one more conservative than Trump on deporting ALL ILLEGALS.

No one more conservative than Trump on stopping hemorrhaging Trillion dollars EVERY year from American economy in foreign trade deficits.

No one more conservative than Trump on stopping Trillions spent in middle-east wars with borrowed money from China, Japan & EU.

No one more conservative than Trump on taking better care of Vets.

No one more conservative than Trump on stopping influx of UN-Vetted Muslims entering the country.

Cruz and Rubio are certainly more conservative than Trump on social issues. But the voters are obviously not looking for a pope, they are looking for a commander in chief.

Damned nice to see a cooler head perspective on the state of things. Thanks for the pings, and your well reasoned commentary, Jeff.

I personally think we’re at the Rockman stage of Oblio’s journey, yet, for the first time in many years feel a path toward a future that I won’t be ashamed to have helped create for my kids. It’s all that matters to me. God bless.

Bryon York took the pictures 2 hours before the rally (6pm Florida time). Not a Rubio fan, but not a fan of faking how bad a person does by this method either.

Twitter posts the time when uploaded to their site. Small crowd compared to some of Trump's rallies, true, but this was a smaller venue and taking a photo hours before the rally is really kinda cheating IMHO.

There are about 320 million people living in the USA.

Probably at least 280 million of those were born in the USA (jus soli), AND to parents who were both US citizens at the time of that birth (jus sanguinis). There would be no question of their sole allegiance to the USA, either by geography or by inheritance. That is the natural born citizenship requirement that John Jay urged George Washington to put before the Constitutional Convention, and which was adopted and enshrined in Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the US Constitution:

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Of that 280 million natural born citizens, there must be at least a few who are capable of honorably presiding over the executive branch of our government for four or eight years.

This election season alone, there have been at least three candidates who do not meet that basic requirement (Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and Bobby Jindal). Barack Obama does not meet that basic requirement, and he is currently sitting in the office. For whatever reason, both parties continue to insist on running candidates who cannot meet that most basic requirement.

As it stands, next to Barack Obama's continued usurpation of the office of the presidency, I consider the candidacies of Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio to be the greatest current threats to the US Constitution.

For this reason, I will not vote for either Ted Cruz, or Marco Rubio, or Nikki Haley, or Bobby Jindal, or any one of many ineligible candidates that have been, or will be, put forth by the corrupt establishment pukes of both parties, for president or vice-president, ever.

I just had an image of Cruz and Rubio on Fantasy Island and little Marco tells Cruz, “The plane, the plane!”

And then you see Trumps 757.
