Exclusive: U.S. labor powerhouse to launch anti-Trump ad campaign

The AFL-CIO, the largest U.S. federation of labor unions, will launch digital attack ads targeting Republican front-runner Donald Trump next week as part of a multi-pronged effort to derail the New York billionaire's bid for the White House and dampen union workers' enthusiasm for him.

Officials at the AFL-CIO, an umbrella group of 56 unions representing 12.5 million workers, told Reuters the ads will depict Trump as anti-union, and will appear on Facebook and Twitter.

"Donald Trump has tapped into the very real and understandable anger of working people. But while he says he's with America's working people, when you look close, it's just hot air," AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka told Reuters. "Donald Trump is nothing but a house of cards, and once we educate people, the house of cards comes crashing down," he said.

They have that kind of money to throw around? Wonder how their unemployed brothers and sisters feels about that.

The UAW tells my father-in-law that they spend "less than 2%" of their dues money on political activities. And he buys it!!!

I have NEVER seen stickers supporting R candidates on union job sites. NEVER. I am 69 years old, and I say NEVER.

Until this year.

Little by little, I see more and more Trump stickers on hard-hats, tool-boxes, truck bumpers, etc.

I see them inside porta-pots on the wall, I see them on stacks of materials.

I have no idea where they come from. Someone must be buying them, or lots of people must be buying them.

I see buttons on safety vests, I see blacks with them, I see whites with them (I still haven’t seen a hispanic with one, but I keep watching and hoping I do).

For a union worker to support Trump is one thing, for a union worker to OPENLY support Trump is something completely different. These people know they are putting their liviloood on the line and risking retaliation by doing so, yet they don’t care.

I have NOT see a Cruz, Rubio, or Kasich sticker or button anywhere. I have NOT seen a HIllary button or sticker anywhere. I have seen a few Bernie stickers around, but not many, and one I recall being half ripped off.

I am a tradesman, and this only applies to me, I don’t think members of the teachers unions are leaning Trump, and I have no idea about factory workers (if there are any union factories left) or SEIU members, just my observations from Chicago IL regarding skilled tradesmen on union sites.

I am not saying that most tradesman will vote for Trump, but I have never seen a public display on one of my sites supporting a R candidate. That is telling enough.

Who cares. The unions are run by communist democrats anyway. All these union scumbags deserve a swift trip to Hades. Not having their support should be a badge of honor.

Richard Trumka is a terrorist.

His leadership of the days of terror by the UMWA in ‘88 are by today’s standards pure terrorism

The United Mine Workers in Camo assaulted and occupied company property. They destroyed property with explosives. They elicited the support of self righteous left wing nuns to block traffic and impede the flow of coal trucks

Unions fear Mr. Trump.

Yes, but how many legal American union members that are fed up with jobs going overseas and to illegals here in America are pro Trump and being even more angered with the unions waste of their hard earned money?

What can we expect from the AFl/CIO? Trumpka reports to HIS office in the White House each day. Soros has his own office there too. The princes of power are afraid the American people will take away their power and that is a no no. The American people has had enough of the AFL/CIO and Soros buying up “our” elite elected. Now they are afraid the one man who doesn’t take their money will upset their apple cart of money & power. Remember Trumpka receives a wonderful salary and perks representing the working member of his union. Compare his “salary and perks” to the average member of the paying union member. Then read how awful they say Donald Trump is.

Unions fear Mr. Trump.

As well they should!

They are the engine that drives the endless inflation-money printing machine and artificially meaningless wage increases, and the endless "rinse and repeat" which is responsible for both inflation, impossible economic growth and artificial, arbitrary wage "increases," absolutely destroying future economic security for everyone, mostly helpless Social Security recipients.

If ever there was a right time to drive a wooden stake through the union vampire , this is it.

GO TRUMP~!!
