I expected better from Cruz
I did too. I'm very disappointed in him. Appalled, really.
It's consistent with what I would have expected from Cruz. Cruz is a member of the establishment club; not a particularly popular member mind you, but a member nonetheless. For the longest time he was able to use his unpopular status to (mis)represent himself as an outsider and a lot of people bought it. Hopefully, last night has revealed that when push comes to shove (figuratively or literally), the members of the club will side with each other at all costs.

Cruz is my reluctant back up choice to DONALD TRUMP.... I just do not understand why the Republicans constantly bash each other ,while the other RATS,stick together no matter what...Trump is clearly the Pople’s choice this election cycle. Why would you? He’s been doing this $hit since he realized that his “campaign” was in the dumper! I can’t wait to hear those famous word: “Today I, Ted Cruz, am suspending my campaign!” In thirty days, 45 days tops!
