Honestly, do you think they would fake putting Todd into intensive care as a political ploy? Some of the posters on this site have gone way off the deep end. Years ago, this was a serious, informative place to exchange ideas.

Sarah Palin cancelled a campaign stop for Donald Trump in Florida Monday after her husband Todd was injured in a snow machine crash.
A source told NBC News that Todd Palin was in "a very serious" crash Sunday night and is currently hospitalized in intensive care.
Huh? My registration says "snowmobile" on it without the copyright mark, and so does my insurance policy for that snowmobile.

Nope. Think those were two different occurrences. The first
one was where a snowmobile hit two dogsleds at different
times. Killed one good sled dog & injured others. - Mr.
Palin’s accident was evidently a different one with no sled
dogs around anywhere.
It might be regional. I knew them as skidoos or snowmobiles but I think snow machine is also common.

One snow machine I saw advertised recently was equipped with an 180 hp motor. Definitely not for puttering around.
