If Cruz is nominated, Obama's DOJ, judges, and various leftist orgs are going to destroy Cruz over his eligibility.
The difference with Obama (if he had been born in Kenya or Canada as many people suspected), is that his mother was not old enough to confer citizenship to her child under US law as it existed in 1960. Cruz was born a US citizen under US law in 1970. The question for Cruz is a little different—it’s whether being born a citizen is the same as being a natural born citizen for purposes of the Presidency. That issue has never been adjucated.
