Donald has done well in the southeastern states.… Now Donald has a harder problem in the west, it’s interesting, his location he does well in the southeast. He does well with a certain demographic of voter.

And what demographic would that be? “Voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged, and who are angry.” Cruz blithely writes off the voters in huge swathes of America.

Translation: "All those bitter clinger rubes were supposed to vote for me, then Trump come along and ruins it. Don't those stupid hicks know I'm the anointed one?"

The devil is in the details which the majority of us do not know. It is not unlike Rubio mentioning the Triad.

I saw a video of Cruz explaining his position on ethanol to a corn farmer. I didn’t know anything about what was going on until he explained it. He wants to level the playing field for all producers of our natural energy resources, including oil, gas, wind, solar, and ethanol. Check it out, it’s not long. Being a lawyer he knows that if the judge has the truth and all the evidence he will be able to make a good judgment. That is what he meant. Judges are low-information, too.
