They are calling it with only 18% in but Florida was only called for Trump with over 50% in and a greater percentage.
They couldn’t call Florida until the polls in the Panhandle closed at 8pm, after the polls in EDT closed an hour earlier.
That’s because Florida is in two time zones and many of the votes in the east had already been counted. Since 2000, the news agencies have vowed not to call Florida until ALL polls close...which is why so many votes had been counted before they called it. It’s not some giant conspiracy.
