I have a hard time believing everyone at GM, Ford or Chrysler is getting "manipulated" in a business deal. If a foreign government could manipulate them this easily, they would have been out of business decades ago.

And what is the solution? These are cars meant for the Chinese market and not the American one. Will President Trump tell them they can't sell in China?

I'm not sure I even understand exactly what the problem is.

A major company wants to do business in a foreign country run by a totalitarian government. The totalitarian government lays out the terms for them to do business there. They either accept the terms, or they don't.

Why the hell would I care if that company loses out on the deal in any way? This isn't a political problem that needs a "solution."
