If Cruz wants to keep his anti-establishment cred, he should form a unity ticket with Trump to defeat the GOP-e.

Yep - staying in now only gives others a chance to pull a Mississippi on the Nation. If Cruz stays in long enough for this to happen, his name will be $#!t in my home.

Come convention time there will be delegates pledged to Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich and Carson. Deals will be cut to give either Trump or Cruz the nomination. Most likely it will be Trump but it could be Cruz if he does really well post-Rubio and is close to Trump in the delegate count. I don't expect that to happen so Trump is the likely nominee and may well win it outright.

There are no other possible outcomes.

Just keep in mind that none of the players can compete with Trump on closing the winning deal. There are several arrows in his quiver and you can be sure he has cataloged every last one of them.

That would be quite a trick...Ryan is the slated to be the chair of the Cleveland convention. Chairman of the convention nominated as the party’s candidate? Not since Dick Cheney vetted all of W’s potential vice presidential picks and then accepted the position himself...

Just saying, there’s a precedent in Republican cirlces.

Agreed. I think A VP Cruz could help steel the spine of the Donald and help him to avoid his penchant for compromise and deal-making with the extremists. Cruz’s experience in DC could go a long way by revealing to the outsider Donald what the extremist left (and GOPe) is going to do next after they make a deal.

Does this disgusting wanker, Paul Ryan, have an opponent in the Wisconsin 5 April 2016 primary? It would certainly be a humbling blow to his ego to find he's not on the ballot for reelection to the House, let alone the Speaker.

Entirely agree, and if elected their first job should be to go to war against the fat cats in positions of party leadership. The country club politically connected who look down on the voters should end their careers as greeters at Wall Mart, and have to trade their Cabernet and Kobe beef for Budweiser, Slim Jims, and Cheese Whiz.

Cruz no longer has an anti-establishment cred!!!!!!!!!!

Cruz is hemorrhaging.
Rubio is out.
Trump will make an easy target of liptwitch mailman (Soros backed) Kasich.

GOPe rinos have thrown everyone and the kitchen sink at Trump and he is the unsinkable Molly Brown.

Ted Cruz, a natural born CUBAN citizen born in CANADA is not eligible to the office of president (Article II, Section 1, Clause 5) or the office of vice president (Article XII the last sentence).

GET OVER IT! Stick a fork in him, he’s DONE.

You are exactly right. That is what Trump and Cruz will do if the backstabbers in the GOPe try to steal the nomination. In the end, I think calmer heads will prevail and they will nominate whoever has the most delegates.

They need to do this now.
Let Cruz tear apart Kasich.
Then they announce the ticket Trump/Cruz the night before the election and the GOPe is toast.

I can support Cruz as VP for Trump. After 4 or 8 years of Trump then Cruz can take it.

“If Cruz wants to keep his anti-establishment cred...”

Perhaps he can keep up his anti-establishment charade, but the mask is now off. He was never anti-establishment to begin with.
