Is Levin laying the history for backing a convention fight now?

The phrase on TV last night was "giving him the three-foot putt." If Trump comes up 100 short, you give it to him if his next closest is far behind. I guess not now.

I can see a floor fight if it is Trump 1,200 to Cruz 1,050. But if it is Trump 1,200 to Cruz 850, you have to give it to Trump and not force a fight.

At least that was the argument on Fox last night. You give Trump the win and not make him putt it out.

Probably won’t matter. I think Trump will wrap up the needed delegates and all of this convention BS is a) clickbait and teasing for the media and b) the GOPe working to undermine their own candidate for a few more months so Hillary can win in November.
