Where did you hear that? I know that would be a Major Concern, But Sarah didn't say anything about a Serous Head or Spinal Injury in her Facebook Post.

Several Broken Ribs, Broken Collarbone, and a Collapsed Lung.

Bad stuff on it's own, but I haven't heard that one. I pray that isn't the case.

My wife saw on FB (I think) that it was ribs, collapsed lung, broken shoulder, clavacle, etc. Six hours probably isn’t all that long with that much going on. Hopefully Todd can recover quickly with no lasting issues.

I was in for 10+ hours just for a sinus surgery. (Afterwards though it FELT like I had been hit in the head with a snowmobile!)

Todd Palin is in intensive care at an Alaskan hospital with injuries including multiple broken and fractured ribs, broken shoulder blade, broken clavicle, knee/leg injuries; and a collapsed lung. He is presently back in surgery to repair multiple fractures. Thank you for your prayers for a speedy recovery. We, as his wife and children, appreciate your respect for our privacy during this time. Knowing Todd, once he's cognizant, he'll probably ask docs to duct tape him up and he'll call it good. He's tough.

I wonder if getting hurt on a snowmobile when it’s really cold is better than on a motorcycle when it’s really warm?

Reminds me of the scene in the Clint Eastwood movie “Unforgiven” when the deputies are having a stupid argument on if they would rather be shot in the cold or in the heat!

KC, I gotta disagree with you about hospitals. I went three times to hospitals and came home with three wonderful blessings. If I hadn’t gone the first time, I would have died and the blessing, aka Lion’s Daughter, would have also.

Modern snowmobiles have evolved a lot from the ones we had 40 or 50 years ago. They are a whole lot faster and more powerful. I know Todd is extremely skilled but speed and power even in competent hands can still be very dangerous. My wife and I pray for his quick recovery.
