1) covenant of death, a treaty of protection between the antichrist and Israel - starts the 7th week of Daniel and the end times
1)Jerusalem campaign: after 3.5 years, the antichrist and his armies will launch an assault on Israel, invade Jerusalem, enter the temple that he had already ordered to be built, and as the abomination of desolation, declare himself as ruler of the world, and demanding worship in the name of Satan. This will be the start of the great tribulation of antichrist.
2) Jehoshaphat campaign: during the second half of the 7th week of Daniel, just before the day of the Lord, God will gather all the nations, and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat to be judged. This will occur just prior to when the great tribulation of the antichrist is cut short by God's day of the Lord's wrath.
Some folks believe that Israel will somehow be provoked to nuke Damascus (Isaiah 17) and Southern Iran (Elam - Jeremiah 49) invoking Russia to defend Iran and/or Syria as necessitated by CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) or SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation).
