Hillary Clinton held off a hard-charging Bernie Sanders to win the Democratic primary in her native state, further clearing the path to the presidential nomination.
A loss would have dealt her a humbling setback in her native state.

Six wounded in St. Patrick’s Day shootings in Chicago

Six people have been wounded in shootings before noon on St. Patrick’s Day, all on Chicago’s South Side.
The most recent shooting happened at 11:15 a.m. in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.

I know a LOT of liberals, I grew up in New York city, and ALL of them are for Sanders. I really don’t understand how she is ahead of him at all. Look at the far left groups like Moveon, they are 100% for Sanders, so where is she getting all this support? Cheating again? Leftists today are basically communist, so any candidate that is the most commie they are going to go for 100% and Sanders is like their commie God right now, so I’m not buying this junk that she is ahead of him. I’m hoping she is the nominee though because I think Sanders would be a lot harder to beat than Hillary. Hillary has an encyclopedia of dirt on her going back for decades which someone like Trump will obliterate her with. Sanders on the other hand, what dirt can Trump lay on him? That he’s a commie? That’s what they want! That guy could actually win which is just as bad as Hillary, so I’m hoping HIllary gets nominated. If she does Trump will be POTUS. On the other hand the GOP treasonists could nominate a RINO and then she would win.
Chicago usually has the highest number of disqualified votes. They know how to eliminate votes they don’t like.

I don’t know how they could not know that she grew up in Chicagoland with that harsh stereotypical native accent of hers.
Dem primary voters are the type of people that get flustered when you ask them who the first President was. Expecting them to decide “she sounds like she’s from here”......no.
Especially since we Chicagoans just sound “normal” to our own ears.
