I guess I am saying that IMHO the chasm is too wide for Christian or Religious Right conservatives to bridge in order to make a Faustian deal with a completely secular pragmatist who has no history of representing the issues that we know God is VERY concerned with.

I think Trump will surround himself with great advisors like Sen. Sessions. I am sure Trump would like history to look kindly on him. Also, by no accident, Trump has raised wonderful children. No drugs, legal problems etc. That would lead me to believe his values may differ from the façade. Also, Trump has the backing of many religious leaders, including Jerry Farwell Jr. Although not officially endorsed, Franklin Graham has spoken highly of Donald Trump. He has also come to Trumps defense on tough subjects including the pope wall comments. Some feel Trump’s past is an issue...We are all sinners.

There is no chance for Cruz going forward. Kasich chipping away at the delegate count to insure a brokered convention. They will never give it to Trump or Cruz. So Trump and Cruz will have to be one step ahead. I would rather see them fight together than each other.

..Franklin Graham said he would not endorse anyone. His father made the mistake of getting too close to Nixon and you know how that turned out.

Truthfully, would you or any Trump supporter have any confidence in his word or leadership if he suddenly embraced someone whom he has repeatedly called a liar and a cheat?
