Notice he doesn’t say WHO the Republican is to nominate!

Unless they change the rules (which they might), only Cruz and Trump are eligible.

Romney said “The only path that remains to nominate a REPUBLICAN rather than Mr. Trump is to have an open convention.” He didn’t say anything about nominating Cruz.
And that’s why the Cruz supporters are still in it for Cruz. They can say that the rino Mitt didn’t really endorse him like the rino Christy endorsed Trump.
